FSC dropped guidance for its members on the UK’s new pornography laws that kick in November 6. The Crime and Policing Act criminalizes possession or publication of realistic depictions of non-fatal strangulation/suffocation, certain penetrative familial or pretend-familial sex, and adults role-playing as under-16. Publication can mean up to five years; possession of the under-16 material up to three. FSC’s Alison Boden called the rules draconian, vague, and a precedent that hits consensual adult content instead of actual harm. Ofcom guidance is still expected; until then the advice is talk to a UK lawyer and scrub anything that looks close before the deadline. Source
Brazil’s ANPD published a practical guide on the Digital ECA, the statute that already requires adult sites to age-verify users in Brazil beyond a simple “I’m 18” button. The document clarifies which products and services are covered (basically anything likely to be accessed by minors, regardless of where the operator sits), stresses documented effectiveness of age-assurance measures, and reminds foreign providers they need a local legal representative. Self-declaration is explicitly not enough. Creator platforms with Brazilian traffic just got a clearer checklist and a reminder that extraterritorial reach is real. Source
Pornhub is openly pushing SFW content—cooking, gaming, podcasts, survival challenges—as age-verification laws keep blocking or throttling the NSFW side in more places. Company data shows podcast and gaming categories rose by triple digits in 2025 (podcasts alone up 327 percent) and searches for “SFW” jumped 114 percent. Alex Kekesi framed it as viewers wanting to know performers beyond the sex scenes, plus a way for creators to stay visible in restricted regions. One Isla Moon snowstorm video is already pulling three times the views it got on YouTube. The tube is treating safe content as infrastructure, not a side project. Source
FaceTrace launched a free search tool for cam models. It covers public profiles on Stripchat, Chaturbate, BongaCams, Cam4, LiveJasmin, MyFreeCams, CamSoda, XloveCam, Flirt4Free plus OnlyFans, Fansly, and Pornhub. Search by current or old nickname, tag, country, or reverse-image a stream screenshot. Profile pages include weekly schedules built from public room data, hours online, average show length, and nickname history. No signup required. For models who change handles or hop platforms, and for fans who lose them, it’s a practical finder. Source
XBIZ dropped the 2027 Exec Awards nominees for the adult entertainment edition. Voting runs through November 6 on XBIZ.net; the ceremony is January 8 in Los Angeles with the XBIZ Honors. Categories include Business Development, Marketing Exec, Progressive Leadership, Community Figure, Brand Ambassador, Team Manager, Executive Leadership, Businessperson of the Year, Creator Businessperson of the Year, and WIA Woman of the Year. Names span platforms (Aylo, Fansly, Chaturbate, Stripchat, SextPanther), payment processors, agencies, and creators like Siouxsie Q, Holly Randall, and Vicky Vette. The list is the early scoreboard for who the industry is talking about heading into the January stack. Source
AEBN published its popular searches by country for August and September. Straight-theater standouts included “fake agent UK” in Denmark, “casting” in Czechia, “pin-up girls” in Spain, and “Captain Marvel XXX” in India and Malaysia. Gay-theater searches leaned “OTB Boyz,” “fit lads,” and “femboy.” Mature content and uniform themes also showed up in multiple markets. The data is the quarterly reminder that local tastes still drive VOD traffic even when global platforms dominate the conversation. Source
Pineapple Support is launching a free six-week “Effective Parenting” support group starting Monday, November 2, at 11 a.m. PT. Led by Dr. Tracy Moore, the sessions cover balancing discipline with understanding, building independence, active listening, and open communication. Founder Leya Tanit noted that many industry people are already parents juggling unconventional work schedules. The nonprofit has already connected more than 20,000 industry people with free or low-cost care; this is another practical room for the ones raising kids. Source
One number: 327% — the jump in Pornhub’s podcast category in 2025 as the platform leans into SFW content.
