1. France wants to criminalize paying for remote sex
The French National Assembly is looking at a proposal that would make it a crime to buy sexual services performed remotely — livestreams, custom clips, cam, paid DMs — and to go after the platforms that facilitate it.
That is not a tube-site bill. That is a creator-economy bill. If it moves, every EU-facing cam and custom shop has a problem, not just French girls on chaturbate. Watch this one harder than another U.S. age-verify clone.

2. Utah’s VPN age-check law is live on paper, paused in court
Utah SB 73 says a user physically in the state still counts as a Utah user even behind a VPN or proxy. Covered adult sites also cannot tell people how to route around the check. Fines run up to $2,500 per violation.
Aylo sued. The state agreed not to enforce the VPN piece until a judge rules or the compliance rules are finished. Pornhub and sister tubes stay geofenced in Utah anyway. This is the template other states will copy if it survives.
3. OnlyFans still has the money. Fansly still has the pitch.
OnlyFans CEO Keily Blair put the current scoreboard on a stage: about $37.5B in lifetime platform revenue, ~5,100 creators over $1M, 5 million creators, 132 million users. After Leo Radvinsky’s death, the family trust sold 16% to Architect Capital for $535M — a $3.15B valuation.
Fansly’s counter is not a better split. Both keep 20%. Fansly’s pitch is kink policy, tiers, and in-app discovery while OF still acts embarrassed by the product that built it. For most working models the answer is still both platforms, not a loyalty oath.

4. The trade is in Europe this week
TES Affiliate Conference hits Prague Sep 24–27. Kadam is throwing an invite-only Traffic Playground party on the 27th. Pineapple Support will be on site. XBIZ and EroSpain’s E/X Ibiza Experience runs Sep 22–25 at Ibiza Gran Hotel — buyers and pleasure brands, not fan meet-and-greets.
If you sell traffic, toys, or payment processing, this is the week. If you just post tits on X, it will not change your Thursday, but the affiliate deals cut here show up in everyone’s payouts later.
5. FSC: debanking is not a vibe. It is still happening.
The Free Speech Coalition flagged fresh testimony from Alix Lynx and Cherie DeVille about banks and processors dumping adult accounts. Same story as 2021, 2023, and last year. If a creator’s “business account” dies on a Friday, the content did not get worse. The compliance team got scared.

6. AI is already in the workflow. ChatGPT erotica is not.
SWR Data says 62% of adult creators now use AI somewhere — captions, editing, chat, image cleanup. Separate from that: OpenAI’s promised ChatGPT “adult mode” was paused indefinitely in March and still has no date. Age-prediction is rolling. Verified-adult erotica is not. Creators who need explicit AI tools are already on specialist stacks, not waiting on Sam.

8. One number
Cam creators are more insulated from the age-verify traffic crash than tube-and-studio traffic. SWR’s read: ID walls hammered Pornhub-style sites in AV states. Live and direct-to-fan kept more of the checkbook. If your whole business is “hope they find me on a free tube,” that era is shrinking.
