We’re often asked by models, “which is the best platform for selling their content”? We thought it would be a good idea to write a post about the top selling platforms for making money. The platforms listed below are in no particular order and each platform offers something different. This isn’t going to be your typical at length review of each site. We’re going to cut through the shit and give you a quick blurb on each platform. Click the name of the platform to be taken directly to their website.
OnlyFans – one of the more popular platforms with everything from amateur nude models to fully clothed celebrities selling their day-to-day pics and videos. You can sell subscriptions, accept tips and more. If you want you can even stream live, however the platform is not meant to mimic a cam site. Nobody can see your content or post unless they subscribe to your profile.
ManyVids – a traditional content selling platform focused on sex workers first with a strong social aspect to the site. I would consider ManyVids the predecessor to Clips4Sale, the OG (original gangster) selling platform. ManyVids is like a buffet, you can sell pics, videos, clothing, receive tips and just about anything else you can think of. You also have the ability to cam. Not necessarily equal to a full blown cam site, but it’s nice they have the option available.
ModelHub – ModelHub is a PornHub owned site, which has a lot of similarities to ManyVids, without all the bells and whistles. It’s mainly a platform for selling videos and photos. The site gets lots of traffic because of PornHub’s popularity and it’s effort to push people to model accounts.
Clips4Sale – THE OG clip selling site. This is the first site where models could sell videos and picture sets. The site launched back in 2003 and is still going strong. The site came to popularity in the post DVD era. The site still looks like it was build 17 years ago, but as they say, if it ain’t broken, don’t fix it. The site has been around so long that it still gets tons of traffic. If you sell kink and fetish content then Clips4Sale should be at the top of your list as a reliable selling platform. You can sell videos and picture sets on the site.
AVN Stars – from the owners of AVN (Adult Video News), the OG of adult related news and the porn version of the Oscars, AVN Awards, comes AVN Stars. AVN Stars is a mix between OnlyFans and Twitter. You can post public content which everyone can see and comment on, as well as sell subscriptions for private videos and pictures.
Patreon – a mainstream site meant for artist and creatives, Patreon does not allow nudity. The site is a favorite for those models that want to sell subscription to their nude “artistic” content. Nudity is allowed, however sex related acts or masturbation is not allowed. Cosplayers have flocked to Patreon as their go-to site for selling lewd images. If you’re looking to sell artistic nudes and not full blow X-rated content, Patreon is an excellent mainstream option.
Fancentro – this platform started with a unique model, allowing models to sell subscriptions to their social media platforms, such as SnapChat. It was a way for models to monetize their social media platforms. Fancentro has since expanded into the fan subscription model, similar to platforms such as OnlyFans and AVNStars. If you’re looking to monetize your social media platforms, Fancentro is a great choice.
Gumroad – a creator site similar to Patreon. Nudity is allowed, however “pornography” is not allowed. The site is pretty basic, you can sell individual photos and videos. There’s not a lot bells and whistles, however it’s a mainstream site so your chance of getting traffic to your profile is better than most.
