Utah’s “deemed-location” fight with Aylo is frozen until the state legislature finishes its next session. Judge David Barlow granted a joint stay so lawmakers can decide whether to rewrite the SB 73 clause that treats anyone physically in Utah as a Utah visitor even if they are on a VPN or proxy. The stay runs through March 5, 2027 (session starts Jan. 19). The preliminary injunction already blocking enforcement stays in place. Aylo argued the rule would force global age checks; the court previously agreed perfect geolocation is not possible. Other states watching the VPN loophole now have a longer window before Utah rewrites or doubles down. Source
Stripchat made its first appearance at Grabbys Latin America in Medellín (Sept. 28–Oct. 4). The platform hosted five of its male and trans creators, skipped a traditional booth, and sponsored the closing party. A strong Brazilian turnout showed up even though the event was in Colombia, and the brand used the week for in-person networking and content.
